A mission I'm passionate about is a program that has been treating underserved children in rural villages in Armenia for nearly 25 years. Every year, a group of doctors led by Dr. Viken Garabedian, purchase supplies, equipment and travel from the states to campsites in rural Armenia that have been equiped for dentistry. Over the course of a week, we regularly provide 60+ kids, ages 10-17 with cleanings, fillings, root canals and much need extractions of infected teeth. To continue to help the underserved population, we have worked hard to raise money and there are now 2 mobile buses. Each bus is retrofitted with 2 dental chairs and all the necessary equipment and materials to care for the patients year-round!
