Meet Dr.
Armen Akopian
Dr. Armen Akopian, also known as “Dr. Armen,” is a leading cosmetic dentist with offices in New York City and Los Angeles. He graduated from New York University with an honors in Aesthetic Dentistry where he received world-class training from the inventor of porcelain veneers. Following NYU he completed a residency at the distinguished Mount Sinai Queens hospital center and has been honing his craft for the last decade.
Dr. Armen is a faculty of NYUs Full Mouth Reconstruction program and has taught hundreds of dentists from across the globe how to do complex cosmetic treatments including smile makeovers and full mouth reconstructions.
Combining a sharpened eye for the esthetic with a solid understanding of biology and function, Dr Armen delivers results his patients can smile about for years to come.
Dr. Armen and his family emigrated to New York City from Germany when he was very young. During those formative years, his parents, who are both professionals in health care, instilled a hard work ethic and strong moral values that led him to be interested in pursuing health care. His gratitude for the sacrifices and encouragement of his parents has been a power source for continuing to expand his mentorship with students interested in dentistry, both home and abroad. His passion for all facets of dentistry have inspired volunteer mission trips around the world.

Dr. Armen Akopian received his dental degree from New York University’s College of Dentistry and completed a year-long general practice residency at the Mt. Sinai affiliated Queens Hospital Center. In his senior year, he was selected to join the Aesthetics Honors program at NYU where a handful of students were trained by the top cosmetic dentists from the tri-state area. This gave him a unique advantage to analyze and treat complex cosmetic cases from the very beginning of his career.
